Who’s your competition?
Is it the other multinational ad agency (e.g. O & M, Saatchi & Saatchi)? or the rather random, indigenous ad establishment down the street (Mama Mama’s or T.A.C.)?
I’ve been thinking about competition, and how it plays into my daily routine. Today I was hanging out with the coolest man on this planet (and I ain’t lying) when he mentioned something that got me really thinking. Ok… he mentioned something that I’ve been ignoring for a LONG while now and that got me really thinking about me, and how I react to stimuli.

Anyway, I thought about my competition. What is it? or rather Who is it? or even Why does it exist when I do? When you think about your competition, is it everyone or everything else (external [negative] influences) or is it you (internal [negative] influences)? Should your past performance be your competition, or the present performances of people/things/businesses/companies that don’t even matter in the whole scope of things?
